Fix iPhone install and connection problems

Fixes for Blazing Online on iPhone and iPad: connection errors after sideloading, untrusted apps, missing Developer Mode, revoked certificates and Apple ID errors.

23 steps. Tick each one as you go.

Find your problem below. For the install itself, see Install on iPhone.

Connection error on iPhone

Tools used for sideloading can stay active in the background and block the game.

  1. Turn off LocalDevVPN.

Open Settings > VPN and make sure LocalDevVPN is not connected. You only need it while SideStore installs or refreshes, never while you play.

  2. Remove leftover DNS profiles.

Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. If you see a DNS profile from SideInstaller or an ESign portal, tap it and remove it (or set DNS back to Automatic), then open the game again.

  3. Delete SideInstaller.

Once SideStore is installed you don't need SideInstaller any more. Touch and hold its icon, then tap Remove App.

  4. Still no luck?

Follow Fix connection errors. It works the same on iPhone.

"Untrusted Developer" or "Unable to verify app"

  1. Trust it in Settings.

Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap the profile (your Apple ID under Developer App, or the company name under Enterprise App) and tap Trust. The name may be shortened.

  2. Check your internet.

iOS checks the app online when you trust it. Use Wi-Fi without a VPN for this step.

Developer Mode is missing

  1. Open the app once.

The Developer Mode switch only appears in Settings > Privacy & Security after a sideloaded app is installed and you tried to open it. Open the app, then look again.

  2. "Install stopped: pair this iPhone" in SideInstaller?

Delete SideInstaller, install it again from the official page with a different certificate, trust it in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, then check Privacy & Security again.

  3. Turn it on.

Switch Developer Mode on, let the phone restart and confirm with your passcode.

The certificate was revoked

ESign and SideInstaller use shared certificates that Apple blocks from time to time. The app then won't open, or shows a grey icon.

  1. Get a working certificate.

Go back to the portal or SideInstaller page in Safari and install again with another certificate. Delete the icons that didn't work.

  2. Sign the game again.

In ESign, sign Blazing Online again and install it over the old one. Your account stays.

  3. Want fewer surprises?

SideStore, AltStore and Sideloadly sign with your own Apple ID, so they aren't hit when shared certificates are revoked.

Apple sign-in fails: error 80045 or stuck at 37%

  1. Wait and try again.

These errors come from Apple's sign-in servers, not from the game. Try again later.

  2. Use a computer.

Sideloadly installs from a PC or Mac and usually still works when the phone tools fail.

"Account is invalid" or wrong password

  1. Change your Apple ID password.

On the iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security > Change Password.

  2. Add the account again.

In the tool (SideInstaller: the gear icon at the top right, then Add Apple ID), sign in with the new password.

Apple ID too new or limited

  1. Wait a while.

Wait 15 to 30 minutes and try again.

  2. Use an older Apple ID.

Apple often limits brand new Apple IDs for a while.

SideStore download fails with a 404 error

  1. Download SideStore yourself.

Get the SideStore app file from the releases page linked on sidestore.io and save it to Files.

  2. Import it.

In SideInstaller, tap Import IPA and pick that file.

The app stopped opening after 7 days

  1. Refresh it.

Connect LocalDevVPN, open SideStore, go to My Apps and tap the 7 DAYS timer next to Blazing Online. On AltStore refresh while AltServer runs; on Sideloadly install again. See The 7-day limit.

  2. Refresh fails?

Make sure LocalDevVPN is connected, then try again. Turn it off when you're done.

Only 3 apps allowed

  1. Make room.

An Apple ID without a paid developer account can have 3 sideloaded apps at a time (SideStore counts as one). Remove one you don't use in SideStore's My Apps.
