Fix "Failed to connect" and connection errors

Try these in order. Most connection errors are fixed by the first four.

Fix it step by step

   Check the server status.

   The server may be in maintenance or very busy. Check the status on the home page and the announcements in our Discord, then try again in a few minutes.

   Restart the game.

   Close the game fully (swipe it away from your recent apps) and open it again.

   Install the newest official app.

   Old builds and copies from other sites can't connect. Get the app from our Download page and install it over the one you have.

   Try mobile data.

   Turn off Wi-Fi and open the game. If it works on mobile data but not on your Wi-Fi, something on that Wi-Fi blocks us: go on to the next steps.

   Change your DNS.

   On Android open Settings > Network & internet > Private DNS, choose Private DNS provider hostname and enter dns.google. On a PC or router, switch the DNS to Google Public DNS or Cloudflare DNS.

   • If nothing loads afterwards, set Private DNS back to Automatic. Some school or work Wi-Fi blocks it.

   Allow our site in your security apps.

   Some antivirus apps (for example Bitdefender or Trend Micro), router security (for example Netgear Armor) and DNS filters (Pi-hole, AdGuard, NextDNS) wrongly block our domain. Add blazingonline.wiki to their allowed list. On an emulator, check the antivirus on your PC.

   Try without a VPN.

   A VPN or an ad blocker app can get in the way, so turn it off and try again. The exception: in Spain during LaLiga matches, some providers block our server, so use mobile data or a VPN until the match is over.
