Update offline Blazing: Rebirth and keep your save

Updating the offline game can overwrite your save. Export it first, then update. New to the game with nothing to keep? Skip the backup steps.

Back up your save

1. 1

   Open the Saves menu.

   In the game, tap the floating menu, then Saves.

   Step 1 done

   Pick your slot.

   Tap the slot you play on (usually Slot 1).

   Step 2 done

   Export it.

   Tap Rename, then Export.

   Step 3 done

   Keep the file somewhere safe.

   Save it to Files, Google Drive or iCloud Drive, not only inside the game.

Update on Android

1. 1

   Open the launcher.

   It's the Sage Mode icon.

   Step 1 done

   Open Updates.

   Open the menu on the left and tap Updates.

   Step 2 done

   Make sure the channel is Beta.

   Then tap Check for updates.

   Step 3 done

   Update the launcher.

   Tap Update now and wait while it reinstalls itself.

   Tap Fix.

   Open the launcher again and tap Fix to download and check the game files.

   Allow it past Play Protect.

   If Play Protect warns, tap More details, then Install anyway.

Update on iPhone

1. 1

   Open Updates in the game.

   Tap the floating menu, then Updates.

   Step 1 done
2. 2

   Wait for the download.

   The newest version downloads at the bottom of the screen.

   Send it to SideStore.

   When the download is done, tap Share IPA and choose SideStore. Or tap Open in Files and add it in SideStore yourself.

Restore your save if it's gone

1. 1

   Open the Saves menu.

   Tap the floating menu, then Saves.

   Step 1 done

   Import your file.

   Tap Import (on iPhone Import from files) and pick the save you exported. Your characters and progress come back.
