This installs the separate offline game on an iPhone. It is not Blazing Online, which is not on iPhone yet (see Can I play on iPhone?). iPhones only run sideloaded apps that are signed with an Apple ID, so you install it with SideStore.
Before you start
- An Apple ID. A spare one is best: if Apple locks it, you don't lose your main one. Very new Apple IDs can be limited for a while.
- The offline game's
.ipafile from the offline downloads channel in our Discord. Save it to the Files app. - For the first setup of SideStore, a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) for a few minutes.
Install SideStore
Install LocalDevVPN.
Get LocalDevVPN from the App Store.
Connect it.
Open LocalDevVPN and tap Connect. Keep it connected during the whole setup.
Install SideStore.
Follow the official guide at sidestore.io. It uses a computer once, with iloader or a pairing file, and then everything happens on the phone.
Trust the app.
Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple ID or the developer name under Developer App, and tap Trust.
Turn on Developer Mode.
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode and turn it on. The iPhone restarts; confirm with your passcode. The switch only shows up after the first sideloaded app is installed.
Install the game
Open SideStore.
Make sure LocalDevVPN is connected.
Add the .ipa.
Go to My Apps, tap + and pick the offline game's
.ipafrom Files. If it asks, choose Keep App Extensions (Use Main Profile).Trust it if asked.
If iOS says it can't verify the app, trust it under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
Play.
Open the game from your Home Screen.
Every 7 days: refresh
Connect LocalDevVPN.
Refresh in SideStore.
Open SideStore, go to My Apps and tap the 7 DAYS timer next to the game (and next to LiveContainer, if you use it).
